This is quote I came up with today and I just think it’s really meaningful and positive, and while someone may well have said it somewhere, I’ve not heard it before, and I basically want the credit.
It’s self-explanatory, but it’s so important- people focus on the end product as if achieving it is all that matters, put off starting it because only the end seems worthwhile- devaluing the journey which makes the totality of journey & goal seem unattainable.
The point, of course, is that every step is its own success. Thus all improvement has value, and you can always justify making efforts to improve and value them for what they are- not debase them by viewing them only as distance from the ultimate target.
